The Visual Arts program of the Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts of Deree - The American College of Greece, is pleased to present the exhibition Architecture of Reality, featuring the work of students and alumni of the Visual Arts program. The opening of the exhibition will be held Friday, April 1, 19:30 at the Open Case 303.

The Swiss architect Charles Edouard Jeanneret (1887-1965), known as Le Corbusier, is an emblematic figure in the history of Modern Art. The exhibition is organized in view of the 50th anniversary of Le Corbusier’s death. The works in the exhibition are informed by Le Corbusier’ oeuvre; students and alumni created drawings and constructions made out of wood and marble. 

 

The exhibition Architecture of Reality is a tribute to Le Corbusier and to Modernism.
